Education
Be Aware Parents & Tax Payers:
New York State's Educational Department has re-branded CRT (Critical Race theory) as CRSE (Culturally Responsive Sustaining Education) and they are planning on pushing it on our kids.
Money quote from the CRSE document:
"For more than a century, education providers throughout the United States have strived and struggled to meet the diverse needs of American children and families. A complex system of biases and structural inequities is at play, deeply rooted in our country’s history, culture, and institutions. This system of inequity — which routinely confers advantage and disadvantage based on linguistic background, gender, skin color, and other characteristics — must be clearly understood, directly challenged, and fundamentally transformed.
Educate yourself on what our tax dollars are paying for, and what our children are learning in school. Just another rebrand to con the parents, just like they did with Common Core State Standards.
American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ARP ESSER) Fund
On March 11, 2021, the President signed into law the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP). New York State has been allocated nearly $9 billion in ARP Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) III funds. ESSER I was $1 billion, ESSER II was $4 billion. NOTE: ESSER I & II allocation spreadsheets cannot be found on NYSED (if you have a link, please email it to us @ NYSCER@NYSCER.COM).
For complete allocations for your school, go to the EDWeek website.
Check what your school district received. Nothing is for free, there is always some strings attached.
Emergency Assistance to Nonpublic Schools Program (EANS)
The Federal Emergency Assistance to Nonpublic Schools (EANS) program was initially created as part of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2021 (CRRSA Act), the second federal economic stimulus package, passed in late 2020. A second allocation of funding to continue the EANS program was included in the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021. The U.S. Department of Education (USDE) has recently made these funds available to states. New York State has received an ARP EANS (EANS II) allocation of $251.2 million that will be made available to eligible religious and independent schools.

National Sex Education Standards - CORE CONTENT AND SKILLS, K-12
Take time to review what your child will be learning if bills A6616/S2584A get through to the Assembly and Senate floors. Educators and politicians yet again taking parental rights away on what, and what not, to teach our children about sexuality.
This is not about biology any longer, this goes well beyond that. Parents should have the right to introduce certain subjects about sexuality when they believe their kids are ready for it. Parents should have the right to act on their beliefs and religion, and educate their children accordingly on sexuality. One size does not fit all.
SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING: A GUIDE TO SYSTEMIC WHOLE SCHOOL IMPLEMENTATION
A GUIDE TO SYSTEMIC WHOLE SCHOOL IMPLEMENTATION
Schools continue to move parents aside and try and take over their responsibilities of educating their children on what the real world will challenge them with. We continue to hear "not all kids have parents who do this" which is probably true, but that doesn't mean that ALL children have to then be subjected to this. Let it be a CHOICE for those children.
